Illegal extraction of mineral resources was prevented in Aviastroitelny district

On June 29, 2015, fellow workers of the State Inspection for Environmental Surveillance under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed the fact of illegal extraction of common mineral resources (construction sand) on the area of 15 square meters and 2 meters deep in the course of the state ecological monitoring of the state of territory of Aviastroitelny district of Kazan. The fact of moving of the soil layer with plant cover on the area of 30 square meters near the site of extraction was revealed. A loader-digger, a wheel-mounted power shovel and 3 “KAMAZ” dumping trucks were arrested at the site of violation. Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology together with fellow workers of the Police Department No. 1 “Aviastroitelny” under the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Kazan and Interior Ministry's Economic-Crimes Department of the Republic of Tatarstan implemented the measures aimed at identification of persons implicated in the violation. All the equipment was arrested and removed to the car impound until the owners and circumstances of the crime are identified. Materials of the inspection were referred to the Police Department No. 1 “Aviastroitelny”.
