Unauthorized snow storage was detected in Sovetskiy district of Kazan
Unauthorized storage of snow on the area of more than 20 thousand square meters was identified between the settlements Tsaritsyno and Nagornyi of Sovetskiy district in Kazan. The message on the fact of violation of environmental legislation was received by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan from residents of the city. At the time of arrival of environmentalists special equipment carried out work on snow ejection.
Specialists of the environmental protection department remind that snow removed from the city streets is contaminated with reagents and, accordingly, when discharged into unspecified places together with melt water, it effects the ground, which leads to its pollution and water pollution in the nearby areas.
Since the beginning of winter, environmentalists have identified 7 places of unauthorized removal of snow.
