ECO holiday for children to be held on August 30 in Gorky Park

Children's Ecological Festival will be held on August 30 at 10:00 in Kazan (in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after M. Gorky). Ecological games and cognitive quizzes will be organized, where participants will be able to learn about the unique natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. For young artists, a contest of drawings will be held in different nominations: "Nature of Your Home", "Your Favorite Animal", "The Spirit of Nature". Within the framework of the ecological holiday, each visitor will be able to make an Eco-bag. The smallest participants of the event will be able to watch cartoons about ecology, visit the aquagrim zone and the contact zoo, master the technique of origami. This holiday is also aimed at popularizing the symbol of Tatarstan - the Snow Leopard.

The ecological holiday is held with the aim of attraction of public attention to environmental issues, as well as involving students of educational institutions in practical work to improve the state of the environment in the framework of the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Organizers of the event: the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatarstan Regional Office of the Russian Students' Teams, the Youth Public Ecological Movement "BUDETCHISTO."
