Artem Sidorov congratulated Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan on Establishment Day

May 11 is the Establishment Day of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. On this occasion, the Head of Rosprirodnadzor Artem Sidorov congratulated the staff of the Ministry: “The protection, reproduction, and rational use of natural resources is, without exaggeration, the most important state tasks that you carry out”. The Head of Rosprirodnadzor noted the dynamic development of the Tatarstan Ministry of Ecology and progress in addressing issues related to environmental protection. The nature protection field of Tatarstan has a rich long-term history. For 16 years, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan defends the nature. Previously, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources. At all times, the main activity was the implementation of large-scale republican programs to improve the economic mechanism of nature management, environmental protection in the country and environmental education. The fundamental role in the formation of the new statehood of Russia and Tatarstan was played by the adoption in 1992 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan, which enshrined the right of citizens to a favorable environment, the right of future generations to use the natural resource potential. In Tatarstan, an environmental cluster has been formed, the links of which are large enterprises that implement long-term programs of nature protection measures and make a significant contribution to the reduction of human impact, municipalities providing sanitary and ecological safety of their territories, the Academy of Sciences of RT, IPEN of Academy of Sciences of RT, providing scientific support for activities in environmental protection, educational institutions of all levels, and in the first place, the leading universities of the republic, federal and regional bodies responsible for environmental control and supervision on the territory of RT, public environmental organizations. “The responsible attitude of business to solving environmental problems, effective interaction of government bodies with the scientific community and the public are those key areas of the Ministry’s work that allow maintaining a stable ecological situation in the country,” Farid Abdulganiev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, said. Today I would like to congratulate all those who are honorably fulfilling the high and noble mission to protect the environment. Let our efforts always bring tangible results and more significant victories!” The Minister wished the team good health, success, and prosperity.
