Emergency response workers and ecological specialists put everything in order at "Nizhnee Zarechye" beach The All-Russian campaign "Clean shore" was held today in Kazan

The nature-protection campaign "Clean shore" was held today in Kazan on the territory of "Nizhnee Zarechye" beach. The All-Russian campaign is held by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation on May 10-23. "It is of special importance in Tatarstan, emphasized Chief State Inspector of Small Vessels of the Republic of Tatarstan, Yury Venediktov, - during the Year of Water Protection Areas we decided to joint the cause of cleaning the shores of water bodies, promotion of public activity and development of careful attitude to nature in the citizens". According to him, such campaigns have already been carried out in Nizhnekamsk, Kamskoe Ustye and Tetyushi. The territory of Kharovoe Lake was recently put in order - almost a ton of waste was collected from the coast. Mainly they collected plastic bottles and PE bags, specified Yury Venediktov. Nevertheless, glassware poses particular risk, since it can cause deep cuts”.

Fellow workers of the State Inspection of Small Vessels participated in today's campaign together with representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the lifesaving society, students of specialized higher educational institutions and colleges in the line of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilkham Sabirov, about a hundred of such events have been held in the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. Ecological specialists, representatives of the nature protection structures, active participants of ecological movements, volunteers, students and pupils participate in the cleaning of coastal areas. "Today's campaign was organized by fellow workers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, and it is nice to see how we all do one honorable thing by joining the efforts - we make a contribution into nature preservation", acknowledged Ilkham Sabirov. He reminded that in the beginning of June, the activities aimed at cleaning of bottoms of water bodies would be arranged together with representatives of the Russian Geographical Society in Tatarstan.  

The "Clean shore" campaign will be held on the coastal territories of water bodies in every city and district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
