The ecological specialists of Tatarstan inspected today the ecological situation in Salmachi and Vishnevka villages

Inspectors of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out a raid today in Salmachi and Vishnevka villages in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan. The coastal area of the Noxa River was in the center of attention. Before that ecological specialists issued a notice to the citizen whose fence restricted free access to the water body. The fence has been demolished today. The citizen of Vishnevka village explains that when he bought the land plot, the fence had already been mounted in breach of the nature protection legislation. The visit of ecological specialists only expedited its demolition.  "Failure to comply with the terms of assurance of free access of citizens to the water body and its coastal area constitutes the violation of Article 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation”,informed Almaz Ismagilov, Deputy Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. - "This year we revealed more than 1,300 violations of the water legislation, and more than 1,200 of them have already been eliminated". As a reminder, according to Article 6 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation, a 20-m coastal belt along the beach line of a water body is meant for public use.
