Environmentalists did not detect violations among subsoil users during the on-site survey

12 July 2022, Tuesday

In the water area of the Kuibyshev reservoir, another field survey was conducted.  Alexey Polyushkov, Head of the Department of the State Inspection of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, checked 9 license areas.

"With the help of geodetic equipment, we fix the points of dredgers and cranes where work is underway on the extraction of CCM, in this case, sand is extracted here, then we impose the boundaries of production on the boundaries of the license. As a result, we check whether there was an exit abroad, whether the GPS signal is connected to the GLONASS +112 system and the rest of the license conditions," explains Alexey Polyushkov. Reminder:

The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan has issued 105 licenses for the extraction of CCM in the waters of Tatarstan. To control the licensing conditions of all subsoil users, the Ministry has two boats in Kazan and in Naberezhnye Chelny and 130 inspectors. Similar trips to the water area are held every week. When conducting any supervisory activity, inspectors use video recorders to resolve disputes.

"All the floating means are connected to a special program, with the help of which we can remotely monitor the subsoil users. And if we identify a border trespass, then a warning is promptly sent to the subsoil user," Alexey Polyushkov noted. During yet another examination, no violations were detected.
