Mind fest. Environmental quest-game in Almetyevsk

Almetyevsk schoolchildren took part in the ecological quest devoted to the Year of Ecology. The interactive game for students was conducted by the specialists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the event the children passed the stations where they had to complete tasks on ecology, biology, and local history. The site “Separate waste collection” aroused a special interest among schoolchildren. Here, the ecologists told the students about the need to sorting household waste and how this affects the conservation of natural resources. Schoolchildren, in turn, told about their successes in waste paper collection, reached in the period of #ECO-spring. “Since the first school days, they began to collect paper products. Every day they brought a few old notebooks, newspapers, magazines, and collected a few tons in total,” said the participants of ECOquest. Interactive game showed good results. According to the experts of the South-Eastern Administration, the students demonstrated deep knowledge in the field of environmental protection. In addition, the environmental quest served as a good opportunity to acquire new information about the world around us.
