Will it be clean? ECO activists of Tatarstan call residents to cleanliness

5 May 2017, Friday

Number of activists of the ecological movement “Budetcisto” grew. Active young citizens of Tatarstan came to the new Office of the youth movement with a desire to join the ECO team of the republic. The newcomers offered volunteers their assistance in cleaning the coastal strip of the Kazanka River along Gavrilov Street. Together, by common efforts, they collected garbage left by holidaymakers after picnics.
Plastic dishes and glass bottles were collected separately. Everything that can be reused went for recycling. In just 2 hours, activists collected 54 garbage bags. “This is only one 10th part of the garbage, – said Dilara Satikova, the leader of the movement Budetchisto. – While some litter and others clean, the problem can not be solved. We are going in a vicious circle. Sometimes you want to scream from the barbaric attitude of some citizens towards nature. Garbage, dirt, unsanitary conditions – is it the state in which they are accustomed to live? We call on the residents of this area to pay attention to the problem of littering the territory and help us to put things in order there. Simply, just do not litter.” Activists will return to the banks of Kazanka this year.
Recall, the office of the Youth Environmental Movement BUDETCHISTO works in Tatarstan. On April 28, it was inaugurated by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev. Now every resident can come to the Office daily from 11 to 20.00 (address: Kazan, Tukaya St., 58) to leave wishes, comments, suggestions, and, of course, join the team BUDETCHISTO.
