Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received information about a fish kill in the Gulf of the Volga River, in the Zaimishche village of the Oktyabr'sky rural settlement of the Zelenodolsky Municipal District. To identify the reasons, a working group was formed, which included specialists from the Rosprirodnadzor Department for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal Agency for Fisheries in RT, and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of RT. Specialists of CSIAC (Central specialized inspection of analytical control) of MENR of RT sampled natural water for general chemical analysis. Based on the results of qualitative-visual selection, the oxygen level is normal. The final results will be ready within 7-10 days from the sampling date. Due to the fact that the Volga River is subject to federal environmental supervision, all materials and analysis results will be forwarded to the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor’s Office and to the Rosprirodnadzor Department for RT for further actions.
