More than 5 tons of waste paper were collected in Kazan during a two-day campaign

More than 5 tons of waste paper were collected during an ecological campaign that was held in Kazan on October 5-6th at four venues: on Baturina, Dzerzhinskogo, Pavlyukhina and Ippodromnaya str. Deputy Head of the Executive Committee - Chairperson of the Housing and Utility Sector Iskander Giniyatulin reported on the results of the event today during Business Monday.

The campaign is aimed to urge people to pay more attention to the problems of ecology and to attract attention to energy saving, as well as to make contribution into the development of secondary recycling. On October 6th, collection of waste paper, PE containers and other waste was organized on the territory of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
