An ECO-lesson was held today at the Kazan children's railroad

An ecological lesson was held today at the Kazan children's railway for foster children of the "Center for promotion of familial arrangements for children left without custody of parents, as well as preparation and support of substitute families in Kazan". "The event has been held by the "United Russia" fraction under the aegis of the Ministry of Ecology for the second time within the framework of the party project 'Ecology of Russia". Such campaigns are held to promote ecological knowledge, foster responsible attitude of children to the natural resources and the environment", acknowledged Damir Valiullin, Head of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations.  About 20 children together with their parents got an opportunity to ride a train from the "Molodezhnaya" station to Lake Izumrudnoe and back. During an amusing ride, a teacher from the Municipal Ecological and Biological Center, Andrey Shkuro, organized contests for the children along with quizzes and master-classes devoted to theYear of Water Protection Areas. "Thank you for happy little eyes andsmiles of our children. We would like to express our gratitude for the support of large families, foster families, as well as for the holding of such interesting, thought-provoking and entertaining events and campaigns", acknowledged children and parents who participated in the ecological lessons wishing such meetings would be held on a regular basis.

The event is organized by the team of the Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Salikhov, under the aegis of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
