Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev takes part in the meeting Year of Ecology: New Vectors of State Environmental Policy and Modernization of Environmental Legislation within the framework of the International Legal forum Kazan Legal 2017. The issues discussed are:
- Climate regulation and greenhouse gas emissions: a common good or a burden for business?

Ensuring the functioning of the territorial system for monitoring the environment state, implementation of the systems of summary calculations of atmospheric air pollution in Tatarstan, material and technical resources and information technologies in the work of Tatarstan environmentalists – these and other topics were discussed today by the Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev and the Minister of Ecology of the Chelyabinsk Region Irina Gladkova.

Thousands of Tatarstanians joined the campaign “Green Russia”. The all-Russian event started on September 2. To date, more than 200 clean-ups have been held in all cities and regions of the republic. “In Tatarstan, campaigns of this format are always on a wide scale,” – Farid Abdulganiev, Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan's Natural Resources said. - Residents of the republic willingly join the general cleaning of streets, yards, school territories.

All-Russian ecological clean-up “Green Russia” was held in Mamadysh. More than 100 people joined the action: employees of the Council and the Executive Committee of the Mamadysh Municipal District, the Executive Committee of Mamadysh, collectives of budget organizations.

For three hours, the activists cleaned the territory of the Vyatka River bank along the M-7 highway, collecting whole KamAZ of garbage.

Residents of the village of Prolei-Kasha in the Tetyush district joined the campaign “Green Russia”. They cleaned the Volga bank of plastic bottles, glass jars and other household waste left by holidaymakers.
“The Volga bank is a favourite place for residents of the Tetyushsky district.

It has started receipt of applications for participation in the city stage of the All-Russian contest “My Little Homeland: Nature, Culture, Ethnicity”. The organizers of the contest are the Kazan City Education Department and the City Children's Ecological and Biological Center together with environmental organizations. It can be participated by students of educational organizations of Kazan aged 12 to 18 years, showing interest in studying and preserving the natural and cultural heritage of their small homeland.

The system of people’s control “Our Nature” has received the status of a federal state information system. The corresponding resolution has been signed by the Chairman of the Government Dmitry Medvedev. This system was developed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation with the aim of creating an effective mechanism for public control, monitoring urgent problems, studying the people’s opinions, and creating feedback.

On October 2, reception of applications for participation in the city stage of the All-Russian competition of young environmental researchers starts. The contest is held by the Education Department of the city of Kazan, the City Children’s Ecological and Biological Center in collaboration with environmental organizations. Participants can become students of educational institutions in Kazan aged 12 to 18 years.
