Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Vodokanal": the implemented environmental programs will not be the cause for growth of tariffs for population

The program, which includes works on reconstruction, modernization and construction of a number of problematic objects of the city water supply and wastewater disposal system is being implemented in Tatarstan. These are biological treatment plants, KNS "Zarechnaya", water intake facilities, water supply node "Tecevskij", "Derbyshki", and engineering networks with pumping stations. This was announced today by the General Director of the municipal unitary enterprise "Vodokanal" of Kazan, Andrey Yegorov at the expanded meeting of the joint Final Board of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Office of the Federal Service for environmental supervision in the Republic of Tatarstan "On the results of work in 2017 and tasks for 2018 ".

The enterprise MUE "Vodokanal" of the city of Kazan is servicing  more than 300 facilities, which provide the city's supply and drainage systems, more than 3 thousand kilometers of engineering networks, a significant part of which was laid during the 50-70s of the last century - the wear is more than 70%. Today the company implements a long-term Investment Program, developed jointly with the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on tariffs in 2016 and approved by the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period up to 2028.
