Kyrgyz delegation studied Tatarstan experience in ensuring environmental safety in republic

Today, a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic, as part of studying the Tatarstan experience in the projects “Safe City” and “E-Government”, familiarized with the republican policy in the field of environmental protection. First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov told the guests about the functioning of the territorial monitoring system for the state of the environment, material and technical base and information technologies in the work of Tatarstan environmentalists. The greatest interest among the guests was caused by the air quality control system. “Monitoring of the air condition is carried out in the country at 123 points with more than 2 million analyzes per year, including for a number of pollutants, the control is being carried out continuously in an automatic mode,” Rustem Kamalov said. Representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that in Tatarstan much attention is paid to environmental security in the republic. “First of all, it is control over the cleanliness of air and water bodies, without which a person can not live. It is impressive that a number of measures have been implemented to improve these areas,” they stressed. According to the guests, Tatarstan's experience in ensuring environmental safety in the country can be applied in Kyrgyzstan.
Also, as part of the working visit, the Kyrgyz delegation got acquainted with the work of the mobile environmental laboratory and an automatic station for controlling atmospheric air pollution.
