Tatarstan schoolchildren – winners of All-Russian contest of nature protection, environmental, educational, creative projects

Schoolchildren from Tatarstan became the winners of the second All-Russian competition of nature protection, environmental education, and creative projects. The event was held by the autonomous non-profit organization “Your Nature” with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia. In 2016/first quarter of 2017 students developed and implemented regional projects in the field of ecology, nature and environment protection. As a result of the contest, 12 Tatarstan schoolchildren became winners in the nomination “Individual Projects Contest – 2017”. The prize is vouchers for an eco-shift to the children’s center Artek from May 27 to June 18. The ecological shift is carried out with the purpose of promotion of ideas of nature protection and reserve, development of ecological culture, creation of conditions for spiritual, moral and patriotic education of young people. As part of the shift, biologists, experts in various environmental fields, teachers, specialists of specially protected natural areas (PAs), methodologists, representatives of environmental NGOs will hold various interactive classes, environmental presentations, actions, flash mobs, and games for children.
