FaridAbdulganiyev: “Attention of Yelabuga to ecological culture is priceless”.

Tatarstan Minister of Ecology FaridAbdulganiyev met with cultural professionalsof Yelabuga. The meeting was held in the Small Hall of the Municipal Palace of Culture. The Minister stressed that the attention paid to cultureby Yelabuga, including environmental cultural, is the result of education expressed in the people ability to live in a harmony with the environment. “The task before us is education of the person who must be fully developed, and above all, in a cultural sense, – said FaridAbdulganiyev. – We must work together to preserve the cultural and historical heritage, which should help us in the education of not only young people but our societyas a whole. Verymuchdependson the condition of our society, its morale and sense of unity”. On the main events held in the municipality, reported the head of the Executive Committee of YelabugaRoman Islanov. He noted thattarget activities under the program “Environmental education in the Yelabuga municipal district” in 2017-2020”are carried out in Yelabugaeducational institutions. As part of the Year of Ecology in Russia and the Year of Ecology and public spaces in Tatarstan, a comprehensive action planfor 2017has been developed. According to the plan, the schools and kindergartens are actively involved in national and national environmental campaigns. Also, profile eco-activities are conducted in schools and hobby groups. Various environmental projectsare being implemented: school ecological monitoring “Certification of springs” among the educational institutions of RT; Ecological project “Colours of wilderness” (municipal preschool educational

institution,kindergarten No.20 “Skazka”), the project “Improvement of springs and the surrounding area.”

Minister of EcologyFaridAbdulganiyev praised the ongoing activities on the development of ecological culture and environmental awareness, upbringing of careful attitude to nature of native land in the territory of Yelabuga and noted that in 2017 – the Year of Ecology and public spaces – the work in this direction must be intensified.
