“Cleanliness in the soul means cleanliness all around”. Kazan Federal University became winner of the #ECOSPRING2016 contest

Kazan Federal University was rated the 1stin the #ECOSPRING2016 contest in the category "Eco-higher educational establishment". The solemn awarding ceremony was held today on the premises of the University including the President of the Higher Educational Establishment, Ilshat Gafurov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Shamil Gafarov, First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Kamalov. "I would like to especially acknowledge that a lot of public organizations have formed today at Kazan Federal University. The activity of certain of them is well known not only at the University, but even beyond the boundaries of the region. It's a comfort to know that students of Kazan Federal University also participate in the largest in Tatarstan ecological movement 'BUDETCHISTO'", acknowledged Rustem Kamalov. "It is hard to overestimate, in general, your contribution today into the cause of nature protection. A significant share of experts of the Ministry of Ecology can boast the diploma of Kazan State University. This year the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign was held under the following slogan: “Cleanliness in the soul means cleanliness all around”. In order to determine the best nature protectors, we organized the ECOSPRING2016 contest that was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. For instance, a student of KFU, Aydar Zagirov, the Institute of Physics, became winner of the contest that was held in the social media. His video spot was distinguished by its freshness and message, I would like to congratulate you on another victory - your institution was rated the first among all higher educational institutions of the Republic".
