The All-Russian contest of children's creative workunder the aegis of UNESCO "The Red Book through the eyes of children" was announced The contest is held until December 31, 2016

The International project "Contest & exhibition of children's creative work 'The Red Book through the eyes of children'" is implemented in the framework of the International ecological campaign "To save and protect" under the aegis of the National Commission for UNESCO, the International Organization "Northern Forum".

The following creative pieces of work are accepted for the contest:

  • those inspired by personal impressions related to acquaintance with the Red Books of various regions and countries, as well as pertaining to the meeting with extinctive species inhabiting specially protected natural areas (during expeditions), and impressions after watching films or visiting Zoos;
  • those touching upon ecology and morality;
  • pieces whose name or content contains the information in Russian on the depicted Red Book species.

Categories of the contest: "Painting", "Graphic art", "Sculpture", "Photography", "Applied and Decorative Arts", "Essay", and "Poetry".

Art pieces can be executed using any technique, on A3 sheets of paper without passe partout (except for applied and decorative arts). Each creative piece of work should be accompanied with the information on depicted Red Book species (hard copy - in a file, electronic copy - on a CD).

Participants will be awarded with prizes, diplomas, certificates of participation and letters of gratitude. The best pieces will participate in exhibitions of Russian cities. The collection of the best pieces will be issued after the contest.
