Development of the geological field and innovative methods for examination and evaluation of the quality of raw materials are discussed today in Kazan at the International research-to-practice conference

10 November 2015, Tuesday

The modern problems of exploration geology, mining and processing industry and modern technologies for processing of raw materials – these and many other topics are discussed today in Kazan at the International research-to-practice conference “Industrial minerals: the problems of prognosis, exploration, evaluation and innovation technologies for the field development”. It is devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Central research and development institute of geology of non-metallic mineral resources”. Participants of the conference were greeted by the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev. “Great attention is paid by the Government of Tatarstan to the issues and problems of the geological field, - he acknowledged, - as evidenced by a longstanding, meticulous and fruitful work on geological exploration and replacement of the mineral raw material base of the Republic of Tatarstan”. According to Farid Abdulganiev, the forward-looking policy carried out in the Republic allowed not only to preserve, but also to propel the geological service of Tatarstan to the next level. The “Central Research and Development Institute of geology of non-metallic mineral resources” – a basic scientific organization of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation in the field of geological exploration, replacement and use of the mineral raw material base of non-metallic mineral resources, as well as assurance of scientific and methodological support of geological prospecting and exploration played an important role. “The experience of Russian and foreign colleagues promotes constructive and concerned exchange of views. Today we discuss innovative methods for the exploration and evaluation of the quality of raw materials, new technologies for extraction and processing of highly liquid products and the role of solid non-metallic mineral resources for the purposes of implementation of the Strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan up to 2030.  I am sure this conference will promote the development of the geological field of Russia and Tatarstan”, acknowledged the Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan.

The conference will be held until November 13th.
