“It's impossible to breathe because of dust.” With this complaint, residents of Naberezhnye Chelny appealed to the Prikamsk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the visit, the inspectors found that the source of wood dust was one of the enterprises of the Forestry Department. The analysis of the samples taken showed the presence of pollutants in the air.

On November 20-21, 2017 in Moscow the V All-Russian Conference on Environmental Education will be held, organized by the non-governmental ecological foundation named after V.I. Vernadsky, interregional ecological public organizations “GreenLife” and “Greenlight”, Research Institute of Ecology Problems, Russian Environmental Academy.

The event can be participated by representatives of federal and regional legislative and executive bodies, representatives of higher, secondary professional and general educational institutions, specialists in the field of environmental education and training, managers and specialists of enterprises, environmental services, environmental control systems, representatives of public and environmental organizations, representatives of the branch and academic science and professional community, mass media.

From 18 to 22 October 2017 in Moscow on Manezhnaya Square will be held the Third Environmental Week, organized with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. It is expected that the event will become one of the cultural events of the Year of Ecology and specially protected natural areas, and the number of visitors will reach several thousand people.

On the opening of the Third Ecological Week, a special “green teleconference” with the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi will be organized.
