Applications are accepted for participation in the international children's and youth contest “Our Oceans in a Changing Climate”. Participants can become children and young people aged 11 to 18 years.

The IV International Geological Forum “Geological Exploration 2017” will be held on October 25, 2017 in Moscow. The event will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia, the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use, the State Commission on Mineral Reserves, heads of exploration and service enterprises, and top management of extractive companies.

Together, they cleared the territory of solid household waste, fallen and dead trees. Inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department noted that this cleanup provided an opportunity not only to improve the ecological state of our region, but also to strengthen the formation of the ecological culture of the population. “Such measures to clean the territory motivate the unindifferent inhabitants to preserve the natural resources of their native land. After cleanups, people of Chistopol, and especially the young people, begin to look at nature with different eyes.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the start of the republican contest “ECOleader”. The most eco-friendly enterprises and educational institutions are invited to participate – whose task is to teach how to take care of nature, public figures who are not indifferent to environmental problems and, of course, journalists who during the year became real assistants to inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan.

Within the framework of the Year of Ecology, the second all-Russian contest “Climate and Responsibility-2017” was announced, which participants can become subjects, municipalities and organizations of Russia. It is conducted with the aim of drawing attention to the problem of climate change, identifying and disseminating best practices in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, demonstrating the corporate culture and achievements in this area.

The Natural History Museum of Tatarstan invites to visit the exhibition “Russia Nature Reserves. Kronotsky Reserve”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the reserve system in Russia and the Year of Ecology. Visitors can see the photos revealing the diversity and originality of the wild nature of Russia. The pictures show volcanoes and geysers, amazing ecosystems of the cleanest rivers, lakes and ancient forests, living waters of ​​the Pacific Ocean, the full of colors steppe world

Cognitive, beautiful and environmentally friendly. Students of the first ecological class in the republic of gymnasium No. 3 in Kazan created a book about nature. The material for making eco-crafts was textile waste. The idea of ​​the competent use of secondary raw materials came to schoolchildren on one of the eco-lessons, which are regularly conducted by the staff of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

For the fourth time, the Goethe-Institute announced a contest among schoolchildren “School for Ecology: think, explore, act!”, aiming to draw the attention of schoolchildren to environmental problems. Teams of students from the 7th to 11th grades, as well as their German teachers and subject teachers (biology, ecology, geography, chemistry, physics) are invited to participate. Together with the teachers, schoolchildren should explore the ecological situation in their city (village), on their street, in their school and offer ideas aimed at improving the environmental situation and attracting the public attention to it. Environmental projects must be uploaded to the contest website before November 1, 2017.

Students of grades 1-11 of Kazan educational institutions are invited to participate in the children's city photo competition “Mirror of Nature – 2017”, organized by the Education Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan and the City Children's Ecological and Biological Center.
