The organization includes more than 100 public environmental organizations from 23 regions of Russia.

In the sampling of sewage samples, excesses of a number of components were detected: ammonium ion, nitrite ion, phosphate ion, manganese, and others.

A metal fence restricting free access to the Shilna river bank was demolished in the Tukaev District of the Republic of Tatarstan. Earlier, the inspectors of the Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan compiled a protocol under Article 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (“Non-compliance with the provision of free access of citizens to a public water body and its coastal strip”).

The Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Sergey Donskoy, sent a telegram to the heads of the regions with a proposal to set up hazardous waste collection points near the buildings of the regional authorities for the purpose of implementing paragraph 46 of the plan of key measures to hold the Year of the Ecology in 2017 in the Russian Federation, as reported on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
