Today, First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan RustemKamalov took part in the VIII International Forum “Ecology”. The event was held in Moscow in the congress park of the Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow. The forum was held within the framework of the project of the party “United Russia”“St. Petersburg – the sea capital of Russia”.

Annually, since 1971, the International Day of Forests is marked on March 21. It is also called the World Forest Day. This Day was established at the 23-th United Nations General Assembly, at the initiative of the European Confederation of Agriculture. In 2012, the UN General Assembly adopted a special resolution on the approval of the International Day of Forests – the need to remain aware of the importance of their protection and to have another reason to inform the population of the planet about the important role played by forests in our life.

Residents of Kazan can take part in the all-Russian project “Ecodvor” (Eco-yard) http: //www.myecodvor.rf. The ecological holiday is aimed at forming a community of residents who are ready to continuously promote the practice of separate waste collection in their yards and cities. Also, the residents of St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Saransk, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Moscow and Moscow regioncan join the project.

In Tatarstan, in January-February, 2017, bailiffs collected more than 1.5 million rubles for environmental violations and completed 265 executive proceedings, according to the official website of the Federal Bailiff Service for Tatarstan.
