Tatarstan took the second place (after the Khanty-Mansiysk District) in the energy efficiency rating among the regions of the Russian Federation. These results were announced today by the Director of the Center for Energy Saving Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan YevgenyMartynov at a joint meeting of the Committee for Economy, Investment and Entrepreneurship of the RT State Council and the Commission for Control over the Implementation of the State Program for the Provision of Affordable and Comfortable Housing and Public Utilities.

Internet-conference “Waste management in Russia: practical issues” will be held by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation on March 29, 2017. The event is organized with a goal to improve the efficiency of state policy in the field of waste management. Theconference will be attended by representatives of federal bodies, executive authorities of the federal subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as business, scientific and public organizations.
