ECO-students of schools participated in the XVII city public eco-forum “ZILANT”. The event was held at the Kazan (Volga) Federal University. The organizers are Executive Committee of the Department of education of Kazan, Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the City Children’s Ecological and Biological Center, Kazan Federal (Volga) University. Russian Geographic Society announced the All-Russian competition among students of educational institutions to participate in the shifts of children centers“Artek”, “Smena”, “Orlyonok”, “Ocean”. The competition is open to children 10-17 years old who are interested in geography, participants of various projects and expeditions, winners of contests and Olympiads on geography, ecology, ethnography, local history, and other subjects.
