Paid fines imposed by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as payments for the negative impact on the environment, made by enterprises-nature users, are going to improve the environmental situation. All funds received, according to the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, are used by the Executive Committees of municipal districts for environmental protection measures. For example, in order to organize a system for collection and disposal of municipal solid waste from the population, the problem of arranging bunker sites has been solved in 30 rural settlements of Almetyevskiy district.
