Community Council Meeting

Today Community Council meeting with the participation of the First Deputy Minister Rustem Kamalov under the chairmanship of the Head of Community Council of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Anatoliy Shchepovskikh took place in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The issues considered at Community Council meeting were as follows:
1. Organization and carrying out of the All-Russian Days of protection from environmental hazards.
2. Carrying out of the two-month campaign on sanitary cleaning of the territories of cities and communities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
3. Round Table “Problems and issues of the sanitary ecological state of the bend of the river Kazanka”.
The Head of the Inspection for State Environmental Control Timur Gilmutdinov made his report “On carrying out of the two-month campaign on sanitary cleaning of the territories of cities and communities of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
Round Table on the problems and issues of the sanitary ecological state of the bend of the river Kazanka was held within the frames of Community Council.
Elena Minakova, member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Assistant Professor of Bioecology Department of Kazan Federal University (KFU), and the Head of the regional office of the All-Russian Public organization “Center for Ecological Policy and Culture”, made her report at the meeting.
The Assistant of Applied Ecology Department of the Institute of Ecology and Geography of KFU Oleg Nikitin also made the report on the issue of “Recommendations on the project of Kazanka River bend improvement”.
