Failed to get off with a fine.The Supreme Court ordered to demolish an illegal fence on theOtarskoye Lakeshore
To ensure free access of citizens to Otarskoye Lake by removal of the fence.Such decision was made by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan against the owner of illegal construction in Privolzhskiy district of the city of Kazan. The metal two-meter construction on the shore of the reservoir was revealed by the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. For the fact of unauthorized seizure of the shoreline the environmental specialists brought the owner of the fence to administrative responsibility under Art. 8.12.1 of the Administrative OffencesCode of the Russian Federation. In addition, the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration issued an order to eliminate the violation. The metal fence was not removed within the established period, as a result of which the environmental specialists applied to the Privolzhskiy District Court, which left the dedcision unchanged. The owner, disagreeing with this conclusion, appealed the decision to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, which also recognized the actions of the resident of Otaryvillage as illegal.
