New knowledge on minerals. The Geology lesson was held today in the first ecology class in the Republic
Mineral, valuable and useful. Today the pupils of the first ecology class in the Republic studied the importance of rocks in the human life. The cognitive lesson for first graders of the school № 3 of Kazan was held by the specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the employees of the Museum of natural history of Tatarstan, museum - reserve "The Kazan Kremlin". The event started from the introduction to the important environmental tool – the microscope. The students got acquainted with the main parts of this device, its functions, and used it to observe some minerals. The young nature scholars studied the sedimentary rocks in more detail and then manufactured the application from them.
