Moscow to host International Geological and Geophysical Conference and Exhibition “Modern Technologies for the Study and Development of the Subsurface of Eurasia” on February 5-8, 2018

On February 5-8, 2018, the International Geological and Geophysical Conference and Exhibition "Modern Technologies for the Study and Development of Eurasia (Geo-Eurasia-2018)" will take place in Moscow in the World Trade Center. The organizers of the event are the International Public Organization Euro-Asian Geophysical Society, the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Business Cooperation in Geophysical Research and Work in Wells, Public Organization Russian Geological Society. Experts, representatives of the largest mining and service companies, equipment manufacturers, as well as representatives of state structures, universities and research institutes and centers will come to take part in the event.

Within the framework of the conference the participants will discuss the following issues:

- Regional geophysical research;

- New ideas in the geology of oil and gas;

- Geological modeling of oil and gas fields;

- Geophysical research and work in oil and gas wells;

- Petrophysical modeling;

- Seismic technologies;

- Downhole seismic survey;

- Geophysical equipment and apparatus;

- Shallow geophysics;

- Geophysical research in the study of ore deposits;

- Marine research and development of offshore resources;

- Supercomputer technologies in the oil and gas industry. Mathematical methods, software and hardware;

- Geoinformatics.

 

The framework of the event will also include round tables, seminars and scientific and educational lectures. During with the conference, an exhibition will be organized which presents achievements and innovative developments in geophysics and geology in Russia.
