Kazan schoolchildren can take part in city photo contest “Mirror of Nature – 2017”

Students of grades 1-11 of Kazan educational institutions are invited to participate in the children's city photo competition “Mirror of Nature – 2017”, organized by the Education Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan and the City Children's Ecological and Biological Center.

The contest is held in the following categories:

- “Amazing things near me” – photos using macro photography;

- “Green Isles of Kazan” – photos of natural objects.

To participate, it is necessary to send author's photos to the organizing committee in the period from October 20 to 27, 2017 to the address: Kazan, Kosmonavtov str. 57. One participant can submit for the competition no more than 2 works in each nomination. Each work must have a title and an annotation. Photographs should be pasted on a thick cardboard of a neutral colour.

Competition works will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

- correspondence of the photo to the theme of the contest,

- expressiveness and original author's decision,

- artistic and aesthetic level,

- relevance and depth of the disclosure of the topic.

As a result of the contest, three winners in each age category will be determined (1-4, 5-8, 9-11 classes). The list of winners and awardees will be posted on the website of the State Technical Library of Trade and Trade: https://edu.tatar.ru/sovetcki/page2455.htm
